Thursday, May 16th | 6:00PM-8:30PM | The Nook at HPAC

NYC’s Mission: Improv-able is partnering with HPAC to bring the art of improv comedy back to Sullivan County! NYC’s M.I. is an improv troupe located in the Hudson Valley dedicated to the instruction, creation, development, and performance of original comedy.

This hilarious and entertaining workshop, designed for all levels of experience, focuses on rediscovering the natural ability of “play” that we all contain inside of us and various other skills. David H. Cohen and Robert L. Kerstner utilize a blend of key concepts of the Keith Johnstone technique with the powerful and creative basics of the Michael Chekhov technique. Explore character development, narrative, following impulse, spontaneity, partnership, physical comedy, and much more.

Through creative gameplay, these techniques and skills learned and experienced will allow you to be more creative and spontaneous on stage while also being able to apply them to everyday life.

This is an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss!
