New up & coming restaurant in Hurleyville, NY seeks to add a back-of-house assistant to our growing team. Join our staff in time to be part of our grand opening!


Job Description:
– Responsible for the preparation of ingredients and stations used in the cooking process, as well as maintaining the kitchen and ensuring it is clean and sanitized
– Sets up necessary supplies and assists with breakdown at the end of the shift
– Follows food handling and safety guidelines and all procedures set by executive chef and general manager
– Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and assists with back-of-house food service as needed


+ Prior food service experience preferred  (2 years)
+ Willingness to work a flexible, event-based schedule in addition to regular hours
+ Completion of or current enrollment in culinary, hospitality or related program is a plus, not required

Ideal candidate is motivated, easygoing, willing to learn & adapt, and enjoys contributing to local food culture. Preference given to candidates with open availability both Friday and Saturday nights.

Shifts available: Night shifts, weekends & holidays
Wages: competitive, based on experience
