Gastor Almonte and Patrick Holbert are standup comedians raising children in Brooklyn. The two met ten years ago in the comedy clubs of NYC and recently partnered up to podcast together about parenting, comedy, and life in general after 40. In this hilarious night of comedy, they will each perform a headlining set and then close the night out on stage together with an interactive and spontaneous Q&A session with the audience.

About the Performers:

Gastor Almonte is a comedian and storyteller from Brooklyn, NY where he lives with his wife and two teenage children. He has twice appeared on Comedy Central’s This Is Not Happening, Comedy Central’s Featuring, Vice Live, and the PBS featured Stories From The Stage. His appearance on Stories From The Stage won the 2020 Webby People’s Voice award for Best Individual Performance. Timeout Magazine named him “One of your new comedy obsessions.”

His debut album, Immigrant Made, debuted at #1 on multiple platforms. His self-funded independent special, “Immigrant Made”, can be seen on Amazon Prime. He is a producer and board member of the science-storytelling non-profit Story Collider.

Originally Hailing from Ulster County, Patrick Holbert is a former TV producer-turned-standup comedian who performs in New York City’s hottest bars and clubs every night. He has appeared on Sirius XM, TruTV, The Travel Channel, and was the host of the internationally syndicated TV show “The Movie Loft” for two years. The New York Times called him the “charming M.C.” of the children’s variety show he performed in from 2015-2017. He resides in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters (one human, one canine).
